In Loving Memory
Lorraine Elaine Baldi
(January 9, 1927 – September 2, 2003)

Lorraine grew up in West Oakland, attending the Prescott School and Mc. Clymond's High School.
At the age of 19 she married Louis Baldi on June 23, 1946 at Saint Joseph Church in Oakland. On December 28, 1948 sha gave birth to her first son, David Louis Baldi. On July 21, 1950, Stephen Albert Baldi was born, followed by her only daughter, Christine Denise Baldi on October 14, 1961.
While raising her family in Alameda, she was actively involved with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies, and School PTA. Lorraine enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling and gardening. She was especially happy when she could get the family together for one of her special dinners (which was always followed with several desserts and a game of Scrabble). If you were lucky, she'd play the piano and sing "Sweet Lorraine".
She was very proud and supportive of her six grandchildren, Brian, Dan, Sara, Korene, Hannah, and Kyle. She always attended recitals, plays, birthday parties, and any other event, with flower bouquets in hand (or maybe a potted plant because it lasted longer...)
Her great-granddaughter, Abigale was welcomed into the family in 2001.
Lorraine's strength, integrity, pride, love and support will always be with us.
